Ashish is also one of India’s finest young stand-up comedians. Following a series of open
mics and pub gigs in 2009, Ashish earned himself a recurring spot at the prestigious Comedy
Store, which led to him being picked for first-ever all-Indian stand-up night, titled ‘Local

Comedy Store. Apart from this, Ashish also performs alongside top international comics at
the Comedy Store.

Ashish is also part of Weirdass Comedy (India’s only Comedy Consultancy, run by actor and
top comic Vir Das) and writes and performs with the Weirdass troupe. He has performed

Ashish’s stand-up material takes a no-holds-barred look at everything from international
and Indian politics, to pop-culture, relationships and the general idiocy and idiosyncrasies of
the world. It is edgy, urban and adult in its sensibilities.
